Gigantic Burger

At work we were talking about burgers and one thing lead to another and someone ended up doing a google image search for "gigantic burger".  Go ahead, try doing a google image search for it yourself.  Click on the first image that comes up.  It is HILARIOUS.

Or if you are lazy:

Who willingly wants to pose for a picture like this?  Congrats dude, whoever you are, you are number one on google image search.  That is a lifetime accomplishment right there.

Dear Readers,

I swear I’m not ignoring you.  Things are just very busy right now.  V. Busy.  My life consists of driving, packing and unpacking boxes and work.  What little time I have left is occupied by Gabby and Owen’s antics.  If someone would like to ghost write a blog entry for me, or write a guest entry to make my blog relevant and interesting again that would be greatly appreciated.  Shoot me an email at mhryvnak@gmail.com if you are interested.

I are tired now.  Must go to sleep.

I’ll catch you on the flip side soon.  Maybe this weekend, perhaps.

Hillary’s coming. Tidey Ho!

Today Hillary Clinton is stopping in Scranton today around 6pm.  Here’s an article with more information.

I won’t be able to attend because I start my new job today!  Wheeee.  I’m nervous as all hell.  Well I’m off to get ready.  No scrabulous today, guys.

UPDATE:  9:32pm.  I’m finally home after doing 2 round trips to Dallas and back and unloading a jeep load of shit at the new house, going to a restaurant with Gabby, Owen and Rich (and Gabby puking at the table).  Oh and Gabby has diarhea, and I have no idea if I can even take her to daycare tomorrow on my second day of work.  Legs hurt.  Must sleep.  Hillary is coming back for the St. Patrick’s day parade.

She’s going to win this state if Barack doesn’t start campaigning more around here.

Ow.

This is not a political blog.

I usually do not post blog entries about politics.  I like to keep my political views separate from this blog.  I am respectful of other peoples political views and would hope they would be respectful of mine.  In reality that isn’t the case.  Now, understand I am not singling anyone out, because I haven’t been in any flame wars recently, however I do read other political blogs (and message boards).  When someone has a political opinion that is put into writing it is usually a strong opinion, and if someone disagrees with it, they disagree because they have a strong conflicting opinion.  That is when things get ugly.  There is no reason to get nasty about an opinion.  Everyone has their own political party they affliate with, candidate they identify with, etc.  No two people usually see eye to eye on every single issue.

That being said. . . .

I just received my updated voter registration in the mail yesterday.  I switched from Libertarian to Democrat so I can vote in the April Pennsylvania primary.  I’m not sure how it is in other states, but in Pennsylvania, you cannot vote in a primary unless you vote along party lines.  I had to switch otherwise I’d be ineligible to vote.  I will probably leave it set to Democrat until the election is over in November and switch back.

For Pennsylvanians:  If you are affiliated with a party other than Democrat/Republican and want to switch to be eligible to vote in the April 22nd primary you have up until March 24 to change your registration.   It’s easy to switch your voter registration.  Since I live in Luzerne County, I just logged onto our county website, printed off the registration paper and sent it in.  Within 1-2 weeks I received my updated card.  I believe there is a bit of a backlog at the courthouse processing all of the changes to registrations based on this article, so be patient.  If your county does not have a website, check the phone book and find the number for the Bureau of Elections or check your current voter registration card.

Pennsylvania has 158 187 (I had the wrong # originally) delegates up for grabs for Hillary and Obama.  Pennsylvania could be a deciding factor for the Democratic Nomination for either candidate.  Don’t you want to be a part of history?  Register to vote or change your registration today so you can be eligible to vote in one of the most important elections over the last 8 years.

Who am I voting for?  I’m not totally sure yet.  I was really excited about voting for Barack, but now I’m not so sure.  I wonder if there is a website I can review their stances on the issues.
