So its 4:30 and my ass is awake sitting in the living room on my laptop watching a re run of outdoor life on nep. I am exhausted, and not drunk. I went to bed at like 9. Owen was just screaming so I had no choice but to get him and feed him. Ughhhhhhhhhh. Its gonna be a long ass weekend. When I die of exhaustion in a few months, can someone get the words "Par for the course" put on my gravestone. Thanks.
Is it November yet? I’m really fed up with all of the negative campaigning already. No Santorum I’m not going to vote for you. Sherwood, you aren’t in my district, but even if you were, I still wouldn’t vote for you. The End. This message paid for by the friends of Michelle Davies.
…..you start dreaming about making clothes in your sleep. It will never happen though, I have no idea how my sewing machine works.
Dear Wilkes-Barre & Hanover Township Road Departments: Please for the love of god, do not start 30 road construction projects all at the same time. It is difficult enough to navigate around the city at rush hour, let alone find a creative alternative route. I do really appreciate that you have taken on an aggressive paving schedule (Source: WNEP.com)
- George Avenue from Washington Street to Scott Street
- Old River Road from Riverside Drive to Carey Avenue
- Brown Street from Gilligan to Stanton Street
- Stanton Street from Hazle to South Empire Street
- Academy Street from River Street to Old River Road
- South Franklin Street from Horton to Hanover Street
….but please please please, PLEASE give us all more than one day's notice that you are doing it. Also, why isn't the project going on at the bottom of South Main Street and Penn Blvd listed? I had to go about 3 hours out of the way to pick up Gabby earlier. Also, can we possibly at least think about the possibility of paving Division Street? Please, I beg of you. The potholes are big enough to swallow a car hole. It is really bad, and I have a jeep with 4 wheel drive capable of off-roading. The fact that off-roading seems like it would be way more smoother than driving down Division Street does not say much. Please Hanover Twp and Wilkes-Barre, collaborate something up to get this road paved before I kill a tire. That is all. For now.
I have nothing better to do so that is why I've been writing a lot of blog entries lately. I just checked and I posted like 5 updates in as many days. When I'm at work 5 updates may span over 5 months because I get lazy.
So anyway…..back to the original point of this post….
I was driving to pick up Gabby yesterday around 4 and was stopped at a stop light at the corner of East South Street and South Main Street in Downtown Wilkes-Barre. There was a really really nice car in front of me – a mercury millan with Maryland plates. All of the sudden I see the drivers hand out of the window waving for some guy walking down the street to come over. The guy walks over and the the driver puts the car in park and opens his trunk. There was a cardboard box in the trunk and the driver grabs something out of it gives it to the guy on the street then closes the trunk and gets back in his car. All of this happened before the light changed back to green, by the way. I thought to myself that the driver looked pretty shady. I didn't see exactly what he gave the guy, but if that wasn't just a drug deal that went down in front of me, I don't know what was. Gotta love Wilkes-Barre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
